Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Sho (Soar), 2007 by Fukami Sueharu was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2012. The auction ended at the price of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,749.81), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fukami Sueharu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ki: Kaze ni tatsu (Spirit: Rising on the wind), 2014 in March this year with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 57,947.02).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Sho (Soar), 2007 von Fukami Sueharu kam im März 2012 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.749,81) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fukami Sueharu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ki: Kaze ni tatsu (Spirit: Rising on the wind), 2014 im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 57.947,02).
