Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Mikazuki (Crescent), 2007 by Fukami Sueharu. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,562.17) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fukami Sueharu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ki: Kaze ni tatsu (Spirit: Rising on the wind), 2014 in March this year with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 57,947.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Japanese and Korean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mikazuki (Crescent), 2007 von Fukami Sueharu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.562,17) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fukami Sueharu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ki: Kaze ni tatsu (Spirit: Rising on the wind), 2014 im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 57.947,02).
