Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bo (Hope), 1990 by Fukami Sueharu was sold in the Japanese & Korean Art Including Arts of the Meiji Period auction at Christies in New York in September 2010. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,219.10) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fukami Sueharu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ki: Kaze ni tatsu (Spirit: Rising on the wind), 2014, which sold at auction in March this year for USD 63,000.00 (€ 57,947.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bo (Hope), 1990 von Fukami Sueharu wurde im September 2010 in der Auktion Japanese & Korean Art Including Arts of the Meiji Period bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.219,10) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fukami Sueharu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ki: Kaze ni tatsu (Spirit: Rising on the wind), 2014 beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für USD 63.000,00 (€ 57.947,02) versteigert wurde.
