Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A point of discussion by Fritz Wagner was sold in the Old Masters and 19th Century Art auction at Christies in London in July 2010. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,508.95). Admittedly, works by Fritz Wagner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Literary Gathering in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 15,600.00 (€ 23,120.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A point of discussion von Fritz Wagner wurde im Juli 2010 in der Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.508,95) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fritz Wagner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Literary Gathering im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.600,00 (€ 23.120,19).
