Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session, which included the work Pussy, Die mondmoralische Märchenwundersau com Kurfürstendamm by Friedrich Schröder-Sonnenstern. The price achieved of USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,090.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Friedrich Schröder-Sonnenstern achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Omega der geschändeten Kraft“. in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 37,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pussy, Die mondmoralische Märchenwundersau com Kurfürstendamm von Friedrich Schröder-Sonnenstern zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.780,00 (€ 3.090,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Friedrich Schröder-Sonnenstern erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Omega der geschändeten Kraft“. im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.500,00.
