Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Droom by Frieda Hunziker was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2016. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,625.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Frieda Hunziker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Maskerade in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 23,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Droom von Frieda Hunziker kam im Dezember 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.625,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frieda Hunziker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Maskerade im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.750,00.
