Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Animeaux II by Frieda Hunziker was auctioned at Sothebys in Cologne in November 2021. The price achieved of EUR 5,040.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Frieda Hunziker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Maskerade in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 23,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Animeaux II von Frieda Hunziker kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in Köln zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.040,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frieda Hunziker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Maskerade im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.750,00.
