Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Frederick Ronald Williams was sold in the AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Melbourne in November 2004. The price achieved of AUD 35,850.00 (€ 20,881.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Ronald Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Upwey Landscape in April 2006 with an auction result of AUD 1,807,000.00 (€ 1,086,862.40).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 35.850,00 (€ 20.881,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden.
