It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,776.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederik van Valckenborch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Mountainous Village Landscape With Waterfalls, Mills, A Castle On A Hill, Various Animals, And Figures In The Foreground in February 2018 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 143,313.41).

Die Arbeit Landscape With Riverside Buildings Behind A Clump Of Trees von Frederik van Valckenborch kam im Juli 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.776,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00.
