Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2003 Christies in Sydney held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work Bayswater Landscape by Frederick Ronald Williams. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 45,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 49,350.00 (€ 29,153.60). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Ronald Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Upwey Landscape in April 2006 with an auction result of AUD 1,807,000.00 (€ 1,086,862.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2003 führte Christies in Sydney die Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bayswater Landscape von Frederick Ronald Williams zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 45.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 49.350,00 (€ 29.153,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederick Ronald Williams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Upwey Landscape im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 1.807.000,00 (€ 1.086.862,40).
