In September 2015 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work An Ever-Busy Harbor, Gloucester, Massachusetts by Frederick Mulhaupt. The »bidding war« ended at USD 67,500.00 (€ 60,473.03), 35% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederick Mulhaupt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The White Schooner, which sold at auction in September 2006 for USD 168,000.00 (€ 132,419.01).

Im September 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Ever-Busy Harbor, Gloucester, Massachusetts von Frederick Mulhaupt zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 67.500,00 (€ 60.473,03) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Frederick Mulhaupt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The White Schooner beobachtet, die im September 2006 für USD 168.000,00 (€ 132.419,01) versteigert wurde.
