Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lavender Fields, St Simiane-la-Rotonde by Frederick Gore was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,536.00 (€ 1,792.05). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Gore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Charlotte Street in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 38,900.00 (€ 52,858.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lavender Fields, St Simiane-la-Rotonde von Frederick Gore kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.536,00 (€ 1.792,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederick Gore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Charlotte Street im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.900,00 (€ 52.858,50).
