Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Japanese Parasol by Frederick Carl Frieseke for USD 237,500.00 (€ 215,536.80). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Carl Frieseke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Garden in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 2,407,500.00 (€ 2,275,950.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Japanese Parasol von Frederick Carl Frieseke für USD 237.500,00 (€ 215.536,80) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00.
