This artwork by Fred Uhlman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2013. In the Modern British& Irish Art auction, the work Village Scene In Winter sold for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,217.07) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fred Uhlman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Portmerion Bay sold at auction in November 2006 with the realized price of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,583.24).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fred Uhlman erzielte im Dezember 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British& Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Village Scene In Winter für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.217,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Fred Uhlman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Portmerion Bay im November 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.583,24).
