Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figures In Landscape by Fred Uhlman was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in July 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,196.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Fred Uhlman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portmerion Bay in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,583.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figures In Landscape von Fred Uhlman wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.196,16) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fred Uhlman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portmerion Bay im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.583,24).
