The work New York at Night by Fred Uhlman was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2013. The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,370.94), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fred Uhlman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portmerion Bay in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,583.24).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit New York at Night von Fred Uhlman kam im März 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.370,94) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fred Uhlman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portmerion Bay im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.583,24).
