Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Moonlit Landscape by Fred Uhlman was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2014. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,025.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fred Uhlman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portmerion Bay, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,583.24).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.025,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fred Uhlman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portmerion Bay beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.583,24) versteigert wurde.
