Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work From the Studio Window by Fred Uhlman for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,414.37). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Fred Uhlman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portmerion Bay in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,583.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit From the Studio Window von Fred Uhlman für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.414,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fred Uhlman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portmerion Bay im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.583,24).
