This artwork by Fred Tomaselli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December 2020. In the New Now auction, the work Fade into you sold for GBP 56,700.00 (€ 63,338.95) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Tomaselli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Organism in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 735,650.00 (€ 914,651.73).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fred Tomaselli erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Fade into you für GBP 56.700,00 (€ 63.338,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Tomaselli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Organism im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 735.650,00 (€ 914.651,73).
