Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work White Corner Piece by Fred Sandback was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in April last year. It achieved a price of EUR 6,048.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Sandback achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Broadway Boogie Woogie (Sculptural Study, Twenty-two part Vertical Construction) in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 545,000.00 (€ 495,724.94).
