In the Travel, Science and Natural History auction, the work Head of Vespa vulgaris: seventeen diagrams showing the anatomy of wasps and ants; five diagrams of the nest of trap-door spider; five diagrams of the anatomy and preying of devil's coach horse beetle sold for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,912.40) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fred Enock - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Willow Saw Fly: nineteen diagrams showing the anatomy, habits of saw flies and their larvae, which sold at auction in April 2011 for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,669.44).

Für andere Arbeiten von Fred Enock mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Willow Saw Fly: nineteen diagrams showing the anatomy, habits of saw flies and their larvae beobachtet, die im April 2011 für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.669,44) versteigert wurde.
