Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE, which included the work Design For de Boeg by Fred Carasso. The price achieved of EUR 18,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Fred Carasso have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2001 the work A nude sitting was auctioned for EUR 25,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Design For de Boeg von Fred Carasso zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 18.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Fred Carasso konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2001 die Arbeit A nude sitting für EUR 25.850,00 versteigert.
