Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work A Fish by Fred Carasso for EUR 300.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Carasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A nude sitting in December 2001 with an auction result of EUR 25,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Fish von Fred Carasso für EUR 300,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Carasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A nude sitting im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.850,00.
