In May 2017 VAN HAM held the auction Alte Kunst, which included the work Rast in der Wüste by Franz Roubaud. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,030.00 29% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Roubaud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cossacks Crossing The River in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 168,500.00 (€ 250,045.53).

Im Mai 2017 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Alte Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rast in der Wüste von Franz Roubaud zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.030,00 und damit 29% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Roubaud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cossacks Crossing The River im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 168.500,00 (€ 250.045,53).
