Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Horsemen in the Mountains by Franz Roubaud was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,587.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Franz Roubaud have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cossacks Crossing The River in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 168,500.00 (€ 250,045.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Horsemen in the Mountains von Franz Roubaud kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.587,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franz Roubaud auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cossacks Crossing The River im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 168.500,00 (€ 250.045,53).
