Other works by Franz Godin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2005 the work Peaches and plums in a tazza and a finch eating blackberries from a porcelain bowl with gilt handles and a façon-de-Venise vase with carnations and wallflowers, on a ledge with cherries, seedheads, pine needles and a butterfly was auctioned for GBP 72,000.00 (€ 104,435.32).
