Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a young Gentleman by Frantisek Dvorak was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2003. The price achieved of GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,377.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frantisek Dvorak achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Young Artist Playing Tricks in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 191,000.00 (€ 147,058.82).

Die Arbeit Portrait of a young Gentleman von Frantisek Dvorak kam im Juni 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.350,00 (€ 3.377,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frantisek Dvorak erzielen.
