Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a lady in white with a hummingbird by Frantisek Dvorak was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,693.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frantisek Dvorak achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Young Artist Playing Tricks in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 191,000.00 (€ 147,058.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a lady in white with a hummingbird von Frantisek Dvorak kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.693,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frantisek Dvorak erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Young Artist Playing Tricks im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 191.000,00 (€ 147.058,82).
