Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Czech the Dancing School, Prague by Frantisek Dvorak was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 25,571.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Frantisek Dvorak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Young Artist Playing Tricks in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 191,000.00 (€ 147,058.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Czech the Dancing School, Prague von Frantisek Dvorak kam im November 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 25.571,53) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frantisek Dvorak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Young Artist Playing Tricks im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 191.000,00 (€ 147.058,82).
