Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by František Kupka achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Mécanique - circa 1928-1933 sold for EUR 41,984.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by František Kupka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Jaillissement II (Tryskání II) in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 7,551,600.00 (€ 8,871,184.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von František Kupka erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Mécanique - circa 1928-1933 für EUR 41.984,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von František Kupka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Jaillissement II (Tryskání II) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.551.600,00 (€ 8.871.184,71).
