Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Frans Wilhelm Odelmark could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work Utsikt mot Helgeandsholmen, Stockholm changed hands for SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,395.60) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Frans Wilhelm Odelmark have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Swedish A Street In Cairo in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,532.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Frans Wilhelm Odelmark konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wechselte die Arbeit Utsikt mot Helgeandsholmen, Stockholm für SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.395,60) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frans Wilhelm Odelmark auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Swedish A Street In Cairo im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 23.532,81).
