Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Frans Wilhelm Odelmark could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Winter Sale auction, the work Egyptian landscape with the Sphinx and the Pyramid of Khafre changed hands for SEK 100,000.00 (€ 9,959.12) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 125,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frans Wilhelm Odelmark - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Swedish A Street In Cairo, which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,532.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Frans Wilhelm Odelmark konnte im Dezember 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Winter Sale wechselte die Arbeit Egyptian landscape with the Sphinx and the Pyramid of Khafre für SEK 100.000,00 (€ 9.959,12) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 125.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Frans Wilhelm Odelmark mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Swedish A Street In Cairo beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für GBP 18.500,00 (€ 23.532,81) versteigert wurde.
