Auction result well in line with expectations
The work River Landscape With Farm Buildings, And Figures In A Rowing Boat With A Fishing Net by Frans de Hulst was sold in the Old Master Day Sale including Old Master Paintings, Drawings and British Works on Paper auction at Sothebys in London in July 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,062.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Frans de Hulst have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Zwei kleine Landschaften in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 37,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit River Landscape With Farm Buildings, And Figures In A Rowing Boat With A Fishing Net von Frans de Hulst wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Old Master Day Sale including Old Master Paintings, Drawings and British Works on Paper bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.062,82) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frans de Hulst auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Zwei kleine Landschaften im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.200,00.
