Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, 19th Century Sculptures, which included the work Pêcheurs Sur La Rivière by Frans de Hulst. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 14,026.00 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frans de Hulst - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Zwei kleine Landschaften, which sold at auction in November 2017 for EUR 37,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, 19th Century Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pêcheurs Sur La Rivière von Frans de Hulst zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 14.026,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Frans de Hulst mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Zwei kleine Landschaften beobachtet, die im November 2017 für EUR 37.200,00 versteigert wurde.
