Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work A River Landscape With Fishermen And A Church In The Background by Frans de Hulst was worth GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,693.06) to a buyer in April 2020. This price was achieved in the auction The Rafael Valls Sale at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Frans de Hulst; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Zwei kleine Landschaften sold at auction in November 2017 with the realized price of EUR 37,200.00.

Die Arbeit A River Landscape With Fishermen And A Church In The Background von Frans de Hulst war einem Käufer im April 2020 GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.693,06) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The Rafael Valls Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Frans de Hulst; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Zwei kleine Landschaften im November 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 37.200,00.
