It achieved a price of EUR 28,800.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Frans de Hulst; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Zwei kleine Landschaften sold at auction in November 2017 with the realized price of EUR 37,200.00.

Die Arbeit A River Landscape With A Boathouse With Fishermen Unloading A Sailing Vessel, A Ferry Nearby; And A Fortified Town By A River With Fishermen Bringing In Their Nets von Frans de Hulst kam im November 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 28.800,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Frans de Hulst; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Zwei kleine Landschaften im November 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 37.200,00.
