Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A landscape with peasants resting on a bank, a village beyond by Frans de Hulst was sold in the OLD MASTER PICTURES auction at Christies in London in October 2004. The price achieved of GBP 8,962.50 (€ 12,899.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frans de Hulst - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Zwei kleine Landschaften, which sold at auction in November 2017 for EUR 37,200.00.

Die Arbeit A landscape with peasants resting on a bank, a village beyond von Frans de Hulst wurde im Oktober 2004 in der Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.962,50 (€ 12.899,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Frans de Hulst mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Zwei kleine Landschaften beobachtet, die im November 2017 für EUR 37.200,00 versteigert wurde.
