It achieved a price of GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,134.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank Wasley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work St. Paul's from the South Bank, which sold at auction in March 2003 for GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,446.83).
