Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fisherfolk on the shore by Frank Wasley was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,280.00 (€ 1,483.24). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank Wasley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work St. Paul's from the South Bank, which sold at auction in March 2003 for GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,446.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fisherfolk on the shore von Frank Wasley wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.280,00 (€ 1.483,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Frank Wasley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit St. Paul's from the South Bank beobachtet, die im März 2003 für GBP 3.760,00 (€ 5.446,83) versteigert wurde.
