The price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 790.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Frank Wasley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work St. Paul's from the South Bank in March 2003 with an auction result of GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,446.83).
