Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman, which included the work Rim Rock Wrangler 28 x 36 in. framed 34 x 42 in. by Frank Tenney Johnson. The price achieved of USD 315,375.00 (€ 305,507.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Other works by Frank Tenney Johnson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2020 the work Wyoming Cattlemen was auctioned for USD 550,000.00 (€ 472,224.61).
