In July 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work 'Evening Haze' And Curlews The First 29.8 X 60.6Cm (11 3/4 X 23 7/8In); The Second 38.7 X 57.2Cm (15 1/4 X 22 1/2In). (2) by Frank Southgate. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,691.36), 28% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank Southgate - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Partridge Alighting On A Corn Field, which sold at auction in December 2017 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,736.81).

(2) von Frank Southgate zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.691,36) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Frank Southgate mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Partridge Alighting On A Corn Field beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.736,81) versteigert wurde.
