The result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 38,619.95) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank Holl - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Absconded, which sold at auction in June 2004 for GBP 90,370.00 (€ 134,497.63).
