Tyrone/11/9/48/Dear Mrs Barnes,/Many thanks for/your letter and cheque/in payment for the two/pictures./I am very glad to/hear that you are pleased/with them, but am sorry/that they were so long in arriving./At the moment we are in our caravan in Co. Mayo,/but will be putting it/away for the winter next/month. The weather has continued very mild and/rainy, but it suits my/painting./With kind regards/yours sincerely/F. Egginton.'
