In the American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Portrait Of A Lady (Head Of A Girl) changed hands for USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,086.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Duveneck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Florentine Girl in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 248,000.00 (€ 293,317.56).
