Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Frank Coburn could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the California and Western Art auction, the work Mt. Santa Rosa Ranch changed hands for USD 1,275.00 (€ 1,068.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Coburn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Busy Downtown Evening (Los Angeles) in April 2019 with an auction result of USD 50,075.00 (€ 44,705.83).
