Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Los Angeles Harbor Scenes (a group of two) by Frank Coburn was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. The price achieved of USD 3,584.00 (€ 3,306.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Coburn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Busy Downtown Evening (Los Angeles) in April 2019 with an auction result of USD 50,075.00 (€ 44,705.83).
