It achieved a price of GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,252.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank Avray Wilson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wish, which sold at auction in March 2012 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,982.23).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Red And Orange) (Unframed) von Frank Avray Wilson kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.252,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Für andere Arbeiten von Frank Avray Wilson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wish beobachtet, die im März 2012 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.982,23) versteigert wurde.
