This work without title by Françoise Gilot was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year. It achieved a price of SEK 32,000.00 (€ 2,757.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Françoise Gilot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Living Forest in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 9,850,000.00 (€ 1,115,718.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Françoise Gilot kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 32.000,00 (€ 2.757,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Françoise Gilot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Living Forest im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.850.000,00 (€ 1.115.718,32).
