Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 25 photos de Kollar. Bellegarde: Sadag, 1934. by François Kollar was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2010. The price achieved of GBP 375.00 (€ 439.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Kollar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View from the Transporter Bridge, Marseille in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,877.75).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 375,00 (€ 439,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François Kollar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View from the Transporter Bridge, Marseille im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.877,75).
